How to become a member of the Marathon Canoe Club of South Australia
Are you interested in long distance paddling?
To paddle 10km or more in one session is generally regarded as a long distance paddle. You don’t necessarily have to go fast? You don’t necessarily have to race? But if you would like to become part of a club that is proactively promoting physical fitness and fun through paddling then you may like to become a member of the Marathon Canoe Club of South Australia. We are a fun club committed to paddling genuine marathon distances. We have a range of ages within the club and you are guaranteed to find someone of your ability to train alongside.
Membership of the club is not expensive;
$30 p.a. for an adult
$20 p.a. for a junior
$35 p.a. for a family
In addition you may be required to pay an affiliation fee which is forwarded to CanoeSA. However if you are already a member of CSA through another Canoe Club then this levied is waived the second time.
Being a member of the Marathon Canoe Club of SA has a number of benefits including regular communication on news and events, discounts on race fees and support at interstate events.
If you would like to become a member of the Marathon Canoe Club of SA you can download a form from this site. Membership fees are due and payable every July and are valid for a full financial year.
