Marathon Officials Course
Martin Finn & Jerry Dunn will be hosting a training course specifically tailored for Officials of Marathon paddling events on Saturday the 16th of April at Holdfast Bay.
Many sports seem to struggle to attract capable and suitably qualified event officials in a busy world of families, business & personal recreation. So this training course is a unique opportunity for clubs and individuals to improve on the capabilities and experience of their volunteers.
Specifically targetted at Marathon paddling the training course is a tailored race officials course and may also be an appropriate additional qualification for other sporting disciplines.

The Marathon Canoe Club of SA has kindly agreed to pay the cost of flying Jerry Dunn down from Queensland and the Holdfast Bay Canoe club is kindly providing the venue.

NB – If you would like to get some training in first there is a training session at 7.30am
At the conclusion of training the Holdfast Club will have a pancake breakfast before the officials course
