Christmas race report
The conditions at the Christmas Race were perfect with low temperaures, no wind, good water and very few ski boats. However only a handfall of paddlers ventured to Swan Reach to paddle this beautiful section of the river.
At the conclusion of the race a great meal and award ceremony was shared at the Swan Reach Hotel to conclude a great day despite the numbers.

As the club looks at this event for next year we are very aware that we will need to increase the number of recreational paddlers and promote the event more generally to recreational paddlers in the state.
